Printing and Exporting Graphs

You can print your graph on any printer connected to your computer. The

print p review er enables you to view how y our graph will look when printed.

It enables y ou to add headers, footers, a date, and so on. The print preview

dialog lets you control the size, layout, and other characteristics of the graph

(select Print Preview from the figure File menu).

Exporting a grap h means creating a copy of it in a standard graphics file

format,suchasTIFF,JPEG,orEPS.Youcanthenimportthefileintoaword

processor, include it in an HTML documen t, or edit it in a drawing package

(select Export Setup from th e figure File menu).

Adding and Removing Figure Content

Bydefault,whenyoucreateanewgraphinthesamefigurewindow,itsdata

replaces that of the graph that is currently displayed, if any. Yo u can add

new data to a graph in several ways; see “Adding M ore D ata to the Graph”

on page 3-27 for how to do this using a GUI. You can manually remove all

data, g raphics and annotations from the current figure by typing

CLF in the

Command Window or by selecting Clear Figure from the figure’s Edit menu.
