Note If the setserial -ag command does not work, make sure that you
have read and write permission for the port.
For all supported UNIX platforms, you can use the
stty command to display
or configure serial port information. For example, to display serial port
properties for
ttyS0
stty -a < /dev/ttyS0
To configure the baud rate to 4800 bits per second
stty speed 4800 < /dev/ttyS0 > /dev/ttyS0
