Signal Tracing
You can enable the creation of up to 99999999 files (<%%%%%%%%>.da t). The
length of a file name, including the specifier, cannot exceed eight characters.
See the Filename descriptioninthe
get (target application object) for
a details ab out th i s specifier.
Copying Files to the Host PC
From xPC Target Exp lo rer, you can dow nload target PC files from the target
PC to the host PC.
1 In xPC Ta rge t Explorer, e xpand the target PC nod e associated with the
target PC file system you want to access. For example, expand
TargetPC1.
2 Under TargetP C1,expandtheFile System node.
Nodes representing the drives on the ta rge t PC are displayed .
3 Expandthenodeofthedrivethatcontainsthefileyouwant. Forexample,
local disk: c:\.
4 Se lect the folder that conta in s the fi le you want. Fo r example, select the
node labeled
local disk: c:\.
The contents of that folder are displayed in the right pane.
5 In the right pane, right-click the file you want to copy to the host PC. For
example, right-click
SC3SIGNA.DAT.
