Case Study 1 A yaw damper for a 747 jet transport aircraft that
illustrates the classical design process.
Case Study 2 A hard-disk read/write head controller that illustrates
classical digital c ontroller design.
Case Study 3 LQG regulation of the beam thickness in a steel rolling
mill.
Case Study 4 Kalman filtering that illustrates both steady-state and
time-varying Kalman filter design and simulation.
