Purpose Closes the serial port connecting the host PC with the target PC

Syntax MATLAB command line

close(target_object)

Arguments

Description Method of a target object. If you want to use the serial port for another function

without quiting MATLAB, for example a modem, use this function to close the

connection.

target_object Name of a target object.
