3 Linear Model Identification
At the command line. Specify the initial states as an argument in the
estimation command
pem using the same options as in the GUI. For example,
use this command to estimate a first-order transfer function and set the
initial states to zero:
m=pem(data,'P1D','InitialState','zero ')
